Hello,
I would like to create a map in Bavaria for LS25, but I am running into some problems. I first created the map using a DGM1 (1-meter resolution). At first glance, the terrain was displayed well, but I noticed that the scaling is not quite correct
The highest point on my map is 552 meters, and the lowest point is 385 meters, which results in an elevation difference of 167 meters.
Unfortunately, this is not reflected on the map. Instead, the elevation difference is 245 meters, which is approximately 50% higher.
Unfortunately, I cannot find any mistake or setting that would allow me to adjust this. So my question is: How can this issue be rixed without changing the terrain scaling in GE10?
Thanks in advance.

@modschmiede, hey!

I'm a little bit confused. Based on my observation, you never exported the project, so where does this assumption come from?
Could you please describe in detail what exactly you did, what you checked, and where?

Thank you

Hi,
I Imported the downloadable DEM into an empty 4x map as a test and wanted to check the results. Do I need to export the entire map in order to obtain the desired result?

@modschmiede, that's what I thought.
You've downloaded the raw DEM data, and it will not work without you adjusting the height scale in GE. The export does all the required steps, so I'd recommend using the export to have the desired results.
