I have gotten everything done and put into the mod folder, but when i go to load the map in a new save it only loads to 55% before soft locking and going nowhere. am i missing something? the game still runs fine but it wont load any more than 55%

Check the README in the export and read the documentation: https://maptoplay.com/docs/farming-simulator/export-and-giants-editor#export-do-not-install
You must open and save the export in GE before putting it into the mods folder.
